Profile
- Attorney Zhongfa Ma is now a Professor of Fudan University Law School, and a Deputy Director of Intellectual Property Research Center, Fudan University. He focuses his study on Law of International Technology Transfer, Intellectual Property Laws in International Trades and (Public) International Law. He was shortlisted for China Intellectual Property Administration ‘Hundreds/Thousands/ Millions of Intellectual Property Talents Program (Second Roll)’ and was awarded as one of a hundred of intellectual property talents. He took the position of Legal Counsellor of Shanghai Bell Alcatel Co., Ltd and Manager of Contract Subsection, Legal Department.
He received the Master’s Degree of Law in July 1999 and the Doctor Degree of Law in July 2005 from Fudan University. From 1999 to 2003, he held the position of Legal Counsellor of Shanghai Bell Alcatel Co., Ltd. From 2003 to 2005, he was an attorney at Shanghai Huiye Law Firm. Since 2005, he has been teaching at Fudan University Law School. He served as a visiting scholar in the Law School of Korea University in Republic of Korea (2011.08-2012.08) and the Law School of Columbia University in the US (2013.08-2014.08).
He published ten English theses on international journals such as Journal of Technology Transfer, Journal of East Asia and International Law, Journal of Intellectual Property Rights, Intellectual Journal of Business and Social Science and Fudan Journal of the Humanities and Social Sciences. He published more than 30 theses on Chinese core journals such as Fudan Journal (Social Science), Jurist, Studies in Law and Business, Intellectual Property, Chinese Yearbook of International Law and Journal of International Economic Law, and more than fifty theses on other academic journals. He published six monographs, among which, he was the first author of the two collaborates; first chief editor of one work; second chief editor of one work; the independent translator of one translation work, which was republished in 2013 and was listed into Shanghai Century Library; the co-translator of three works. He held one project of National Social Science Fund and six provincial and ministry level projects of Ministry of Education, Ministry of Justice, China National Intellectual Property Administration, Shanghai Philosophy and Social Science, Shanghai Municipal Science Committee and Shanghai Municipal Education Committee Key Innovation.
